Rental and Cancellation Terms

We do everything we can to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, whether you are renting equipment or participating in a guided tour. Please read the following terms and conditions before making a reservation.

1. Use of Equipment and Customer Responsibility

The customer receives the rental equipment in good working condition and agrees to return it at the end of the rental period in the same condition, allowing for normal wear and tear.

The customer agrees to:

  • use the equipment carefully and only for its intended purpose
  • comply with Finnish law and all applicable local rules and regulations
  • take proper care of the equipment throughout the rental period
  • refrain from making any technical modifications to the equipment without the lessor’s permission
  • return the equipment at the agreed time

Rental equipment must not be left unattended without appropriate supervision. The customer is responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the equipment during the rental period.

2. Insurance and Limitation of Liability

We recommend that customers have valid travel, accident, or leisure-time insurance coverage.

Participation in activities and the use of rental equipment are entirely at the customer’s own risk. The company shall not be liable for personal injury, illness, or damage to, loss of, or theft of the customer’s personal property.

The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the rental equipment through their own actions. Lost equipment or equipment damaged beyond repair may be charged at its full replacement value.

3. Damage and Technical Issues

Any damage, accidents, or technical defects must be reported immediately to the lessor or service provider.

Rental equipment may not be left in the field, wilderness, or any other location without prior agreement. Defects resulting from normal wear and tear are the responsibility of the lessor. Repair costs and other expenses arising from damage beyond normal wear and tear may be charged to the customer.

4. Guided Tours

The customer agrees to follow all safety instructions provided by the guide throughout the tour.

The service provider reserves the right to suspend or deny participation to any person whose behavior endangers their own safety or the safety of others.

The operation of tours may depend on weather conditions and other factors affecting safety.

5. Cancellation Policy

Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 21 days before the start of the rental, activity, or tour.

If a cancellation is made less than 21 days before the start of the service, the full reservation price will be charged.

If the customer fails to arrive without prior notice, the full reservation amount will be charged.

We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel a service due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other force majeure circumstances. In such cases, customers will primarily be offered an alternative date or compensation, determined on a case-by-case basis.
